Greg Sinibaldi is a versatile artist, primarily known as an award-winning musician but also increasingly celebrated for his mixed media visual work. His artistic practice involves painting and collaging on found objects, particularly cardboard, using a unique blend of acrylic paint, images from discarded books, oil stick, pastel, and pencils or crayons. Many of Greg’s visual works serve as intimate self-portraits, capturing his innermost feelings and emotions through texture, color, and form.

With a background rooted in music, including a master’s degree in jazz performance, Greg brings a deep connection to improvisation in both his musical and visual practices. Having spent most of his career as a professional saxophonist, his exploration into the visual arts over the last 20 years reflects his desire to push creative boundaries. The process of painting serves as a reminder of the freedom he seeks when making music—embracing spontaneity, expression, and the unpredictability of each moment.

Greg’s visual work is deeply influenced by his musical life, and the two art forms often feed into one another. Though he is just beginning to share his visual work publicly, Greg has already exhibited in several group shows, attended a residency at the School for Visual Arts in NYC, and is building a growing reputation within the visual arts community. As his work continues to develop, he remains committed to the fusion of music and visual art, creating a dialogue between the two that is as personal as it is dynamic. Through both mediums, he explores themes of identity, emotion, and artistic freedom.
