Materialized Studio

Creating what we want from whatever we want.

The Welliver family has always had studios in every place we've lived. Then we moved to Seattle where extra space is extra expensive. Luckily, we found Equinox studios and got on the waiting list right away. Our first year in the Factory Building was living rough with no utility sink or 220 power for the kiln, but we were making art and friends nonetheless. Now, six years later, we love our studio and being part of the Equinox community. We are committed to recycled art, reducing plastic waste, and ecological studio practices. We also love to throw a party, and can't wait to invite you all back into our studio during open houses!

Day jobs: Drew is a Senior Programmer at Expeditors International, Cassie is the Director of Drama Kids of South and East King County

Our son, Carter, is studying photography and videography.
