Kathy, Big Blue studio #206, Equinox, was a fellow in eight art residencies including in Spain & Costa Rica. She has won awards in national juried shows, had four solo shows, & published her art & writing in national journals. She was in the Peace Corps (Honduras), where she served as a beekeeper & public-school teacher. Kathy received her MFA in 2022, two years after retiring as a professor. She earned a PhD in 1997 in Language Education.
