Equinox Studios COG (COG) was born out of the shared interest in bettering the world through art and the collaborative spirit of the individual Artists of Equinox Studios.

A 501c3, COG formally links Equinox Studios Artists to one another and to the local community. It is COG’s mission to develop a durable, vibrant artist community which provides employment and cultural activity in the Georgetown neighborhood.

Our goal is to involve as much of the greater community in the creation of art in Georgetown as possible; art from the people, by the people and for the people.

Will you join us?

There are several ways you can get involved:

The best way to find out about volunteer opportunities is to sign up for our
volunteer email list. The call for volunteers usually goes out twice a year: in the summer for the Georgetown Carnival and in December for our Very Open House. Volunteer jobs range from ushering guests, to planting trees, to building large-scale artworks! So no matter what level of participation you are interested in, there is something for you.

Funds donated to COG help support community events and art projects, and
individual community members in case of medical emergencies or other life events.

COGs most pressing need at this time is developing a financial cushion for
members of our community whose livelihood has been affected by COVID-19.
