With continued success Equinox Studios will be open for the Georgetown Art Attack this coming Saturday, May 12th from 6:00 - 9:00pm. In continued tradition the art bus will be available to take you around the various stops in the Georgetown district! If you prefer not to deal with parking (there is plenty around the building) make your first stop Equinox. Food: Enjoy a taco from Alaska Ginger! They will be offering a bite to eat, and prices range from $1.00 - $2.00 per taco.

For our March Art Attack we debuted our own Sam Farrazaino driving a shuttle van connecting Equinox to 4 other Georgetown locations during the evening. It was a great success, bringing lots of new faces into our building. We plan to make this a regular feature of Art Attack. So, be sure to look for the Art Shuttle sings during second the second Saturday Art Attack!

Special Documentary showing: Sweet Crude
We will be showing the documentary Sweet Crude by local director Sandy Cioffi. The show will start at 7pm the night of our open house, location to be determined.
Sweet Crude was filmed on location in the Niger Delta documenting the oil trade, political corruption, and enviromental damage done in the Delta. This documentary has won numerous awards, been shown globally and is very timely. Equinox Studios is proud to show this film and that Equinox artist Melinda Hannigan’s paintings were used throughout the film.
Sherry Haussey will be doing free interactive bead-making demonstrations in studio #303 the evening of Art Attack - March 10th from 6-9 p.m. Children (ages 8+) and families are welcome to attend and try out lamp-working and take home a small glass bead!!
Starting in March, Alair Wells, of Tinder Herat metals and design will have a line of hand-forged steel candle holders for sale at the Venture’s store in Pike Place market!
